Local music is in a precarious state in the present climate with many events and venues cancelling entertainment.
In a bid to support up and musicians in the area, the landlords at The Hunters Lodge are will be hosting live music events.
The first groups to appear will be The Mighty Bills, supported by The Backwater Revival.
The Mighty Bills are an acoustic trio playing a set featuring music from the great singer songwriters with a mix of blue grass, country and rock tunes - Little Feat, Ry Cooder, Clapton, John Martyn, James Taylor, Dylan, Van The Man - to name a few!
A combination of slide guitars, double bass and vocal harmonies make for a classically chilled unplugged set up.
The line up of Sean, Dan and Laurie also feature with local band The Sidekicks, who have been appearing throughout the South West for over a decade.
The gig will take place at The Hunters Lodge Inn, at Raymonds Hill, on Saturday, January 28, from 8.30pm.
