Members of Axminster Drama Club are working hard behind the scenes to bring The Pied Piper of Hamelin, by Eric Fowler, to the stage.

January’s pantomime will bring a seemingly huge crowd of rats to the Guildhall stage.

The show has some old and new faces this year with lots of slap stick, up beat songs and, of course, a village idiot, played By Caroline Markham.

The set designers are also hard at work to bring colour to the streets of Hamelin for the production, which will be staged from Thursday, January 17 to Saturday, January 19, including a matinee on the Saturday.

Tickets will be available nearer the time. Keep an eye out in the press for details.
