Young performers set to bring Oliver! to the stage in Sidmouth

More than 80 members of Sidmouth Youth Theatre, aged between 12 and 18, are well into rehearsals for their latest production.

Supported by a professional pit band, the talented youngsters will be performing Oliver! at the Manor Pavilion Theatre, Sidmouth, Wednesday, January 31, to Saturday, February 3.

Lionel Bart’s musical will take you on a wild adventure through Victorian England.

Join young, orphaned Oliver Twist as he navigates London’s underworld of theft and violence, searching for a home.

The group, which has a strong reputation for delivering high quality performances, brings you a gritty and powerful performance that showcases the talent of Sidmouth’s youth and their dedication to refine their work to share with the community.

Tickets (£12 for adults and £6 for under-16s) will be on sale at Sidmouth College 1.40pm to 2.15pm and at theatre box office 10am to 2pm daily.
