The Devon arts charity ‘Villages In Action’ is bringing a new play to Membury Village Hall this Saturday.
Taking place on Saturday March 18 at 7.30pm. Their new play, 'Every Brilliant Thing’ is written by award-winning British writer Duncan Macmillan and performed by actor Philip Robinson.
The play enjoyed sold-out five-star runs at three Edinburgh Festivals and continues to tour worldwide with great acclaim.
The play synposis says: "Although the play dealt with serious themes it was, at its heart, a celebration of what makes life worth living. To have shared that experience in my village hall, with my community, was such a pleasure and a privilege... Watching 'Every Brilliant Thing' certainly helped bring and bind us together, and share some laughter too. The village is still buzzing with it. What a joy."
WARNING The piece contains descriptions of depression, suicide and self harm. Suitable for ages 12+
