With a new book planned, Aled Jones will be visiting Axminster Guildhall on the 17th October 2024 as part of his major UK tour, ‘Full Circle’.

Aled jones is an award-winning Welsh singer and radio and television presenter who gained widespread fame in 1985 for being the boy treble who captivated the world with his angelic voice.

Particularly known for his recording of ‘Walking in the Air’ from the animated film The Snowman, Jones is a household name and integral part of the nation’s festivities, he has since gone on to sell over seven million albums.

Jones has has had a successful career, starring in musical theatre productions as well as performing on the classical stage. His credits include lead roles in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.  

‘In demand globally’, he has performed at iconic venues from London’s Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House and even performing to King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.

“There have been some incredible moments – meeting Royalty, playing concert halls all over the world, singing at Bob Geldof and Paula Yates’s wedding – and, of course, recording Walking In The Air, right through to Songs Of Praise and Classic FM”, says Jones.

After looking back to his remarkable 40 year career, Aled said: “It’s time to come Full Circle, I’m really excited about this tour. I’ll be telling stories about how it all began, then taking the audience on a journey through my career. There’ll be songs, there’ll be stories, and there’ll be one or two surprises”.

The show will consist of stories and songs from across his career, he will be singing some of his favourites, telling stories, showing previously-unsees photographs, and feature never-before-heard music; for the first time, his story will be told in his own words.

On top of the tour, Jones is preparing for a “Busy” 2024, announcing that he is also planning to release a book.

He said: “I can’t wait to get on the road and visit interesting places I’ve never visited before and of course see my wonderful fans”.
