Carols at Padbrook Park in Cullompton takes place on Sunday December 10, and Light Up a Life at Exeter Cathedral will be held on Wednesday, December 20. There will be a sign language interpreter at the Cullompton and Exeter Cathedral events.

Booking is essential for Honiton and Cullompton, with bookings closing on Monday, November 20. Visit www.hospiscare.co.uk/light to find out more.

Susie Healey, Friends and Family Officer at Hospiscare, said: “We know that the festive season can be a difficult time when you have lost someone close. We hope people may find comfort in joining with others at our Light Up a Life events to commemorate, and honour, the lives of those we miss so much.”

In addition to the in-person events, Hospiscare are welcoming dedications in their online Gallery of Memories, as well as the Hospiscare Book of Memories, which will be displayed in local churches and community centres from December 4 until January 6 2024.

The Hospiscare Tree of Light will also be shining in memory in front of Exeter Cathedral for visitors to attend throughout December.
