A man has died following an incident at Marine Place, Seaton, on Wednesday morning (November 22).
Witnesses saw a large police presence in Seaton town centre, with many police cars and emergency services at the scene, including the Devon Air Ambulance.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police told the Herald: "Police were notified at around 9.40am to reports of a concern of welfare of a man at an address on Marine Place in Seaton on Wednesday, (November, 22).
"Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
