Shoobridge Funeral Services have kindly offered TRIP a meeting room, free of charge, to host a weekly coffee morning (with cake!).
This is great news for all those that enjoyed the weekly friendship hubs, which sadly ended on the 28th November due to lack of supportive government grants. They are providing a lovely space for everyone to meet and volunteers that helped with the hubs have kindly said they will continue to help with the coffee mornings. Door to door transport will, of course, be laid on for those in the vicinity that need it.
A taster session will take place on Wednesday 20th December from 10am to 12.30pm and the coffee mornings will begin in earnest on Wednesday, 10th January. Clients who attended the last hub were really pleased that they would still be able to meet up with all the friends they have made at the hubs.
