On Tuesday, (December 12), Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Watch Manager, Jurgen Jameson received his 30 years service award.

Group commander Ben Williams attended Seaton Fire Station to present Jurgen with his 30 year certificate.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Jurgen achieved the epic milestone early last year, and all of us at 42 send him our huge congratulations and continued success for the years to come."

At Exmouth Fire Station, Firefighter Chris Hopkins received his competent Firefighter certificate after finishing his apprenticeship with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.

Chris successfully completed his Firefighter apprenticeship yesterday, (December 21) and joined the service in September 2021 and started at Paignton Fire Station. Chris moved to his home town Station at Exmouth to complete his apprenticeship, finalising his endpoint assessment in June 2023.
