A free exhibition of work by members of Otter Vale Art Society is on show at the East Devon Business Centre in Honiton.
The exhibition in the reception area is open to the public and features around 50 pictures by group members, including both experienced older artists and fresh young talent. All the artworks are available for sale, and the display will change every couple of months to bring in new paintings.
The exhibition has been organised through a collaboration between the Otter Vale Art Society and the business centre, which is run by East Devon District Council. The council wanted to support local artists by providing a free space for them to exhibit and sell their work.
Otter Vale Art Society meets for an informal session every Tuesday morning at Ottery Cricket Club for artists to work on their drawings and paintings in a group environment. The society also organises artists demonstrations and workshops, and stages an annual exhibition where work is judged by an independent artist and prizes are awarded in several categories.
