Axminster Tools will be presented with The Kings Award for Enterprise by The Lord Lieutenant of Devon to Axminster Tools.

The Kings Award for Enterprise was awarded to Axminster Tools for their own brand UJK Parf MKII Guide System. Based on Pythagoras theorem and developed in conjunction with Master Craftsman Peter Parfitt, the Parf Guide System is designed, developed and manufactured at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Axminster. The presentation takes place on Monday 25th March at 12pm at the Axminster Tools store: Weycroft Avenue, Millwey Rise Industrial Estate, Axminster EX13 5PH.

The awards celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses that are leading the way with pioneering products or services.

The King's Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen's Award for Enterprise are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.

 The scheme was established as The Queen's Award to Industry by a royal warrant of 30 November 1965, and awards are given for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility. The award is valid for five years after winning.
