Budleigh Salterton & District Hospiscare has installed a Forget-Me-Not commemorative bench in the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve.

The bench serves as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation to residents continuing to support the charity, which enables them to fund Hospiscare’s services for patients and their families over the past four decades.

Situated in a peaceful location on the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve, the Forget-Me-Not commemorative bench provides a tranquil space for quiet reflection.

Budleigh Salterton & District Hospiscare, a local charity dedicated to funding end-of-life care for patients of Budleigh Salterton Medical Centre and Woodbury Surgery, the beach commemorates the charity's 40th anniversary.

Martin Briggs, Chair of Budleigh Salterton & District Hospiscare, expressed his gratitude and appreciation, stating, ‘As we commemorate our 40thanniversary we are profoundly grateful to the local community for their support throughout the years. We invite everyone to visit the bench and to take a moment to reflect and remember their loved ones in this beautiful spot.
