A new milk filling station has been set up at a Honiton farm shop as it continues to move towards a greener way of operating.

The station, at Bartlett's Farm Shop, offers pasteurised whole milk, purchased from Widworthy-based Sutton Lucy Dairy.

Costing £2.95 for the first fill of a glass bottle, it costs 95 pence each refill.

Owner Nicola Blackmore said the response to the venture has been 'great'.

She said: "People have purchased the bottles already and say how tastier the milk is drinking out of glass.

"We are all to do with low food miles and keeping everything what it should be."

Those who use the refill machine are obligated to keep the bottle and clean it before each refill.

For more information on the refill machine, get in touch with the team at Bartlett's by calling 01404 44375 or visit the shop, in Hayne Lane.
