Parents’ thanks to Cranbrook community after missing 12-year-old boy is found

A 12-year-old boy from Cranbrook has been found after he reported missing by police today (Thursday).

Caelan Davies had been the subject of a search by police officers, with some claiming to see a police helicopter scouring Cranbrook and surrounding areas for the schoolboy.

Some residents also took to their cars to scout for the youngster, after he went missing while dressed in his school uniform.

His father, Aarron, posted on social media this afternoon that his son had been located and is now home.

He said: “I’d like to give a big thank-you to everyone who helped look for Caelan.”

Caelan’s mum, Bethan, added: “We are truly grateful for all who have helped us.”
