A drunken mum asked a young couple if they wanted a threesome before telling another woman she was too fat to join in.

A court heard Naomi Pleasant, from Wales, ended up being arrested for assault after she bit Amanda Parsons during a fight at an Exmouth holiday camp.

Pleasant, 32, of Cwmbran, Gwent, denied assault by beating and was found not guilty by the magistrates following a trial.

The court heard how Mrs Parsons and her children were heading back to their Devon Cliffs holiday park caravan at around 2am after a boozy night when blonde-haired Pleasant started making racy suggestions to a young couple.

Exeter Magistrates’ Court was told Pleasant asked the group ‘to go back to your caravan for a threesome and sex party’.

Mrs Parsons said she found her drunken comments to be insulting.

Pleasant, on holiday with her family, admitted to the court that she then said to her: “I don’t want you to go because you are too fat.”

Mrs Parsons said: “I am fat so I wasn’t bothered by the comment. It is not in my nature to get upset and angry.”

The court heard that Mrs Parsons and Pleasant ended up grappling on the ground. Pleasant claimed that Mrs Parsons, from Nuneaton, hit her in the head and then sat on her ‘bouncing up and down’.

The defendant admitted she bit Mrs Parsons on her thigh and finger as she tried to get her off, but claimed that her actions were in self-defence.

Mrs Parsons, 34, admitted grabbing Pleasant’s hair and pulling it back to stop her from biting her again before security staff arrived at the scene to separate them.

Pleasant told magistrates: “I was very drunk. I did make a very derogatory remark, calling her fat, for which I apologise. It was at this point that she turned round and hit me in the head.”

Pleasant admitted biting her fellow tourist on her right leg because ‘she was sat on top of me, bouncing up and down on me’.

The couple, who Pleasant had invited back to her caravan for the ‘threesome sex party’, told the court the defendant was ‘flirty, chatty and inappropriate’.

Pleasant, who represented herself in court, told magistrates: “I had had too much to drink. I had six glasses of wine that night. On a scale of 1-10 of being drunk, I was six.

“I was a bit loud. I made a very derogatory remark. I called her a fat *****. It wasn’t a very nice thing to say.” She said an 18-year-old girl walking back with her boyfriend was getting ‘annoyed’ with Pleasant’s drunk and loud behaviour.

Pleasant admitted ‘there was a lot of sexual banter going between us all’; she claimed the teenager’s partner was talking about a threesome, but she insisted it was ‘just banter’.

Pleasant said: “I did not start the fight. Amanda hit me after I called her fat. I apologise for my behaviour.”
