As part of our There With You campaign, we are running a series of articles provided by Citizens Advice East Devon, offering information to help our readers save money on energy bills and avoid the 'heat or eat' dilemma of fuel poverty.
This week, their head of media & communications Jess Park has written about how to obtain a £98 voucher towards energy costs.
In accordance with Devon County Council and Devon Citizens Advice, we would like to let you know about the Household Support Fund, which offers vouchers worth £98 to people across East Devon. If you are not from East Devon, please get in touch with your local Citizens Advice as they are also administering the scheme for other areas in Devon.
The fund provides grants to people who are struggling financially and that have key meters or smart meters which can be topped up by card in a shop.
The scheme runs until the 31st March 2022 so there is plenty of time to contact us if your circumstances change.
There are a variety of ways to contact us:-
1. You can use the form on our website to apply https://citizensadviceeastdevon.org/household-support-fund/
2. Message us on Facebook 3. Email us on enquiries@citizensadviceeastdevon.org

Editor's note:
Since October we have been publishing information on local and national organisations offering advice and financial support for people struggling to heat their homes this winter.
But to help us provide the right kind of information, we would like to hear your views and experiences. Have you been affected by fuel poverty? Were you able to get useful support and advice? Is there anything you wish you had known about earlier?
You can submit feedback – anonymously if you wish – to: sidmouth.editorial@archant.co.uk to share your story
