Thousands of tickets are now on sale for this year’s annual duck race in Honiton.
The event, held at the Otter Inn in Weston on Sunday, August 12, will raise valuable funds for Honiton’s Admiral Nurse campaign and local youth causes.
The ducks will be tipped into the River Otter at around 2pm on the day, with the winner clinching £250. Second place secures £150, and third £100.
Several stalls will be held on the day, selling books, plants and bric-a-bric.
The duck race is a popular fixture in the Honiton calendar, and is organised by Honiton and District Lions Club.
David Rickard, Honiton Lion, said: “This is a fantastic event raising money for worthy causes.
“Previously, we have raised thousands of pounds for charities including Devon Freewheelers and The Project in Axminster.
“Your participation will support these charities and good causes in continuing making a difference to people’s lives.”
