Glynis George Interiors takes the Rotary Club trophy for its hanging baskets
Axminster’s Glynis George Interiors has won a trophy – for its colourful exterior.
The shop, in Old Bell House, has been voted winner of the Rotary Club’s contest to find the best hanging basket floral display in the town.
This year there were more than 20 entries and feedback from both residents and visitors was very favourable with many compliments about how they added a splash of summer colour to Axminster.
For the judge, Don Waterhouse, selecting a winner was a difficult decision due to the high standard but after much deliberation the verdict went in favour of Glynis George Interiors.
The Rotary Club has thanked all the entrants for their spectacular displays this year and hopes it will encourage them and even more entries to make the town a pleasure to visit once again in 2017.
