Organisers hand out cheques for £3,750 to worthy causes
A record £3,750 was given to good causes by the organisers of this year’s Colyton Tractor Run.
The main beneficiaries were the Devon Freewheelers and the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, which each received £1,750.
A further £250 was given to local organisations.
The money was presented at a ceremony at Colyton by tractor run chairman Arthur Parsons and treasurer Ann Viet. Since it began in 2000, the run has raised more than £32,000 for good causes.
