Exhausted man taken to shore by Lyme Regis lifeboat
Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat was launched at noon yesterday (Thursday, June 18) to help a windsurfer reported to be exhausted 600metres offshore at Seaton.
A member of the public raised the alarm after seeing the man on his surfboard with the sail down.
The lifeboat towed the man to safety ashore on his surfboard. He was said to be tired but otherwise unhurt.
