Services set to begin again on Palm Sunday following major refurbishment and repairs
Axminster’s historic parish church is set to reopen after the latest works to repair and refurbish the ancient building following an arson attack that left the interior severely smoke damaged.
It will be back in action on Palm Sunday for services as usual, and for the important events of Holy Week coming up to Easter.
The Vicar, Reverend John Streeting gave ‘great thanks’ to everyone who has worked so hard to clean up after the departure of the decorators.
