Two youngsters, reported overdue after setting off from Lyme Regis, are found safe and well
Lyme Regis lifeboat was launched yesterday (Tuesday) evening after a report that two boys using a small inflatable had not returned when expected.
The volunteer crew launched the lifeboat, Spirit of Loch Fyne, at 5.20pm. The lifeboat and coastguards found the teenagers ashore on the rock armour near Church Cliff east of the harbour
The lifeboat returned to harbour at 5.48pm. This was the 18th ‘shout’ for the lifeboat so far this year and the third incident during Lifeboat Week.
