Organist Dr Richard Godfrey welcomed to the fold at the group’s recent ladies’ night dinner
Axminster Catenians welcomed new member Dr Richard Godfrey to their ranks at a recent ladies’ night dinner.
Richard, and his wife Jane, recently moved to Lyme Regis where he teaches at resort’s Organ School.
After the dinner, Cafod Diocesan Manager, Simon Giarchi, gave a presentation on their work, and in particular highlighted the success of the Give Water appeal which was the Catenians international charity during their centenary year, raising a quarter of a million pounds.
* Catenians are Catholic men who meet regularly for social activities – often with their families. They are part of an international organisation with over 10,500 members. Members of Axminster Catenians are drawn from East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset.
