Driver’s injuries are not life threatening, say police
A driver who had to be cut free after his car collided with a tree at Tytherleigh Hill last night (Sunday) suffered chest injuries, it has been revealed.
Police say the man’s condition is not life threatening, however.
Firefighters from Axminster and Chard used hydraulic cutting equipment to free him from the wreckage of the vehicle, which ended up on its side, at around 6.15pm
He was released and taken into the care of the ambulance service and is being treated in hospital.
