Race night in memory of Daniel Manley raises more than �2,488.
A race night held in memory of a young footballer by Awliscombe United Football Club was well supported.
The event, on Saturday, was staged to remember Daniel ‘Dano’ Manley who died from a rare form of cancer.
More than �2,488 was raised on the night - proceeds will be split between the football club and Cancer Research UK.
Daniel, who played for the football club, died in 2009, aged 23.
Organisers have thanked everyone for their support.
