Tiny store named the best independent food shop at the fifth Taste of Dorset Awards.
The Town Mill Cheesemonger, in Lyme Regis, has been named Dorset’s best independent food shop.
The tiny store took the title at the fifth Taste of Dorset Awards.
Owner Justin Tunstall said: “It’s an honour to get this award. Dorset is a fantastic county for food producers and retailers alike, and the other shortlisted shops are both superb operations. Even more encouraging was how many of our West Dorset neighbours and suppliers were shortlisted and also recipients of awards.”
Furleigh Estates, of Salwayash, won best Dorset drinks producer and The Hive, at Burton Bradstock, scooped Dorset’s best caf award.
