Homes are left without electricity after cable fault at Lyme Regis
Three dozen homes in Lyme Regis are currently without electricity (Tuesday, noon).
Power went off at around 7.15am this morning, affecting 36 households.
A spokeswoman for Western Power said a defect in an underground cable in the Queen’s Walk area was to blame.
She said engineers had now located the fault and were attempting to carry out repairs.
“We hope to get the power back for customers by early evening,” she added.
