It’s never too late to start again
I have taken up the opportunity to contribute to a book. It’s not going to be well-known, in fact, it’s being published by a minister friend of mine in the USA so I might not even get to see it - but the idea of contributing is exciting.
At least, it was when I started. I only have one chapter to write on my favourite subject (church, of course), but the deadline which seemed far away weeks ago has come and gone and I am feeling frustrated and regretting saying yes at all.
Sometimes our big ideas don’t work out and when that’s the case we can blame others, or ourselves, for our failure or we can start again and reconsider our plans.
The Bible says it’s never too late to start again and God will always help us through – but we need to ask for his help!
