Seaton members don Navy outifts for the annual convention
LIONS Club members from Seaton became salty sea dogs when they travelled to Torquay for the annual district convention.
“Uniforms Old and New” was the theme of this year’s opening night festivities, which attracted some interesting entries, including a Navy press gang from the Seaton club. Music for the evening was provided by Seaton’s Clive Millman with “Millies Music”.
Some 300 Lions took part in the business session on Saturday which featured performances by the “Brass 4 Youth” band – which the organisation supports.
The formal dinner and dance took place in the evening and the convention finished on Sunday morning with an informal question and answer session hosted by the current district governor Lion Clif Cane.
