Honiton is trying to attract visitors to the town and is encouraging street performers.
On Saturday, June 4, there was music coming from St Paul’s Church, People were actually dancing on the street.
I crossed the road and thought that I would sit down on the seats outside the church, but I could not because some inconsiderate people selling plants had their stall so close to the seats you could not get access to them. Not satisfied with blocking the seats, they had their plastic bags on both seats.
The enjoyment I was going to have and other people would have had listening to the music by the Amycrofters was denied us.
Oh, well, I suppose I’m only an old pensioner, so I don’t count. I’ll stay indoors in future.
