Shoppers urged to support Shelterbox appeal
AXMINSTER Rotary Club has been stepping up its Shelterbox collections so the organisation can respond to any global catastrophe.
Demand for their life saving kits has been particularly great this year, with disasters like the Pakistan floods.
New boxes, at nearly 500 each, need to be purchased to replace those that have brought much needed aid to many parts of the world.
Rotarians were at Axminster Tesco yesterday (Thursday), with a sample Shelterbox, encouraging shoppers to give generously.
