Collision occurred just off the A30, at Cloverleaf, Turks Head, in Honiton
THREE fire appliances were sent to Turks Head, Honiton, after a collision involving two caravans and two cars was reported to emergency services.
Witnesses said people were trapped in the vehicles, but everyone was clear of the wreckage when fire crews arrived.
The collision was reported shortly after 1pm yesterday (Sunday), prompting fire engines from Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Exeter to be sent to the scene - just off the A30 slip road at Cloverleaf.
Firefighters made the vehicles safe and left the matter in the hands of police.
