On Wednesday, April 7, whilst driving along Limers Lane towards Dunkeswell, I fell foul of a pothole/ditch just by the turning to Wolford Chapel.
Within seconds of my mishap, another car came to grief and, later on that day, a third car was damaged and other cars had also been damaged earlier in the week.
When I returned to look for my hub-cap, the hole was repaired and, in the ditch, by the side of the road, I found 15 hub-caps - so that was an indicator of the state of the road.
It would be interesting to hear from drivers who may have come to grief at this spot.
My thanks must go to a very kind young man from Dunkeswell, who stopped to help us.
Who said the age of chivalry was dead?
