TELEPHONE cable worth around �7,700 was stolen from a yard in Honiton.
The theft took place at the Carillion Telent premises (formerly known as Fujitsu) at Honiton Business Park, Ottery Moor Lane, overnight on Tuesday, December 1.
Police believe the quantity taken was enough to fill a light van and have called on the public for information.
They have asked if anyone has seen a van laden with loose, rubber coated cabling or been offered such cables for scrap to contact them.
