A SEATON couple have finally tied the knot after 10 years together and several set backs.
Dave Butlin, 53, proposed to Ann, 57, two years ago. But the couple, from Fore Street, were hit with bankruptcy earlier in the year and could not afford it.
The pair married on Saturday (September 12) at the United Reformed Church, in Cross Street, and celebrated at Temptations, in Fore Street.
Ann said: "Dave's finally made an honest woman of me. We didn't have the money before and everything wasn't going wrong for us. We thought we should make something nice happen. I hope my new name will bring me some luck!
