AN East Devon hotel, which has just been awarded a Rosette and four stars by the AA, could be extended to meet demand.
Colin and Jenny Wheatley-Brown, of The Monkton Court Hotel, near Honiton, are seeking planning permission to add 23 bedrooms, a new restaurant and dining terrace.
The hotel currently has seven bedrooms.
Since taking over the hotel, the couple have completely renovated the building - restoring features on the ground floor and refurbishing the bedrooms to a high standard.
