A WOMAN was trapped in a car following a road traffic collision with another vehicle in Kilmington on Friday, July 31.
Police said the woman, who was air lifted to hospital with a casualty from the other vehicle, broke her leg.
Firefighters were called out to the incident on the A35, Gammons Hill, at around 5.30pm.
Crews from Axminster, Honiton, Sidmouth, Colyton and the rescue tender from Exmouth attended and used hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools to release the woman.
