TWO Axminster men have been given �80 fixed penalty fines for breaking shop windows.
Windows were smashed at the old Busy Bee premises in Lyme Street and at the Coop in West Street.
Police said a shop window broken at the laundrette in town was accidental and the person responsible has offered to pay for the damage.
All three incidents are believed to have been fuelled by alcohol.
The offender who broke the windows at 1st Call Taxis, in Lyme Street, has yet to be identified. Anyone with information can call police on 08452 777444.
