THE Harris family, who own Honiton Motel, are today making preparations to regain the day-to-day running of the business after new leaseholders disappeared.Customers reported finding the venue closed and locked up on Sunday night.A wedding reception had gone ahead, as planned, the day before.The business was leased to Helen Martinez and her family last year.They invested heavily in new flooring and seating for the main bar, and launched a new menu during a well-attended open evening.Richard Harris said the intention was to re-open the motel - once the legalities of the lease were sorted.
