The Lions clubs of East Devon - Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Ottery St Mary, Seaton, Sidmouth, Honiton and Axminster - have clubbed together to raise �8,500 for the West of England School and College for young people with little or no sight to give the youngsters' sensory garden a makeover.Members from the clubs visited the school to present a plaque to commemorate their fundraising efforts, after the Lions chose it as its nominated charity.School and college principal Tracy de Bernhardt Dunkin said: "We are very grateful for this generous donation."The sensory garden provides a fantastic education and leisure area that our students gain so much from." The sensory garden features a mix of sounds, smell and textures to stimulate the pupils' senses.
