RESIDENTS are invited to a talk on steps to get through the recession and to give their views on priorities for Lyme Regis in the coming year.
LymeForward is hosting the event at the Marine Theatre on Thursday, March 26 from 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm.
Organisations on hand for advice include: CAB, Jobcentre Plus, Magna Housing, Business Link, community learning advisors, TREATS Toy Library, Energy advisors, Turn Lyme Green and the Dorset PCT and police.
There will be information available on affordable housing, saving energy, cutting bills, debt management, keeping your job - or finding a new one, training and new skills, financial help, applying for benefits, staying safe, cutting your leisure costs and keeping your business afloat.
LymeForward will also be showing what actions have been taken during the year towards achieving the objectives of the Community Plan - and asking for residents' comments on proposed activities for 2009/10.
For more information, contact LymeForward coordinator Ellen Rooke on 01297 444387 or email ellen.rooke@Irdt.co.uk .
