Honiton Cats Protection co-ordinator Lizzie Manley explained that one of the foster homes was without power and so keeping the cats warm became top priority. "The cats are in insulated chalets, with warm bedding but the heated under beds are electric and so there was no additional heat," she said."Luckily, the fosterer has a Rayburn so could warm the kettle and keep filling hot water bottles - thanks to her friends who loaned her enough for every cat!
