TESCO was there when stranded motorists needed respite from snow. A coach party from Awliscombe, near Honiton, was forced to turn back from Haldon Hill, on the A38, last Thursday night. They had been to see a production of River Dance at Plymouth Pavilions. The 24-hour Tesco was open at 2am, allowing the 13 weary travellers to use its facilities. Staff offered the group hot drinks, but they weren't required. The group would like to thank Tesco for its appreciated help.
