WORLD famous former skating champion Robin Cousins MBE was in Exeter last night to launch Holiday On Ice at Westpoint.
Mr Cousins, who choreographed this year's offering, Mystery, told a full house that Holiday On Ice is now in its 65th year.
The show's artistic director, Anthony Van Laast, addressed a VIP reception in Westpoint's newly-opened conference room before the curtain call and revealed it was the 16th year Holiday On Ice had visited Exeter.
Ticket sales had not been hampered by the recession.
The touring company had been awarded a place in the Guinness Book of Records - for being the ice show that has attracted the most visitors, many millions, since its inception.
