There will be an opportunity for the people of Lyme Regis to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II death by lighting a candle on the seafront.
From Sunday, September 18, people can light a candle at the seafront shelters to commemorate The Queen or just sit in silent reflection. The event is being organised by the Rotary.

We will create a space where people can light a candle. There will be no music playing or words spoken. Just silence. Chairs will also be available for people to pay their respects."
The mayor of Lyme Regis, Councillor Micheals Ellis will light the first candle on Suday night at 8pm. Anyone can then join to light their own candles.
