Colyton Theatre Group are in rehearsal for their Christmas panto Peter Pan, to be performed at the Town Hall from Wednesday, November 30.
The group say it will be a ‘fabulous’ production with ‘clashing swords, beating drums and the ever-present tick-tock of the crocodile’.
They say: “Director Emily Thomas has brought together a superb cast of all ages to play wicked pirates, unruly lost boys, mermaids and Indians. With singing, dancing, some spectacular effects and hilarious panto jokes, not to mention a villain to hiss at and heroes to cheer for, there will be something to delight everyone in the family.”
The show runs until Saturday, December 3, and starts at 7.30pm, except for Friday December 2 when it will start at 6.30pm.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s, and available from The Little Shop, Colyton (01297 551374); Archway Book Shop, Axminster (01297 33744) and Owl & Pyramid, Seaton (01297 599030).
