Seaton Tramway and The Pig at Combe are among the finalists in two categories of the Devon Tourism Awards 2023.
Seaton Tramway has been shortlisted for the Accessible and Inclusive award and the prize for the best Large Visitor Attraction. Last year it won Silver awards in the same two categories.
The Pig at Combe in Gittisham near Honiton is among the finalists for the Small Hotel of the Year.
The annual competition is now in its 13th year and has evolved in parallel to the industry itself. This year’s awards have taken more account of the entrants’ commitment to the environment and community, and how well they promote themselves online.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Plymouth on February 2 2023. The successful businesses in many categories will be fast-tracked into the South West Tourism Excellence Awards in March 2023 and may be invited to represent Devon in the national VisitEngland Awards, in which the county has previously had many winners.
