This month, the East Devon Ramblers have enjoyed a festive-themed ramble from Sidmouth to Honiton and Christmas lunch.
The walk started with their annual Christmas Lunch at the Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth. The delicious lunch was attended by 80 Ramblers and not a pair of walking boots were in sight. There was even a surprise visit by Santa and three of his helpers who delivered gifts.
In addition to the usual weekly selection of walks on offer, there were several additional walks leading up to the Christmas period with a walk for the first time ever on Christmas Day, swiftly followed by a walk on Boxing Day.
On Christmas Day the walk was a leisurely five mile ramble starting from Honiton and ending at the Yellow Deli in Honiton where a wholesome lunch was enjoyed by all.
East Devon Ramblers offer six walks each week anywhere across East Devon ranging from four to 12 miles throughout the year.
