The festival, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, will take place at Escot near Ottery St Mary from Friday, August 18 until Sunday 20. The fancy dress theme for Sunday will be announced at a later date.

The line-up for The Bimble Inn and The Rebel Tent are still to come. Pop-up folk/roots sessions will return in The Fiddler’s Arms curated by Geoff Lakeman. The festival also has the usual walkabout theatre, stunning site art, a huge children’s area, a vast selection of food and traders plus real ale bars run by Otter Brewery.

Regular festival-goers will welcome the news that the portable toilet providers Andy Loos will be back in 2023. They had been unable to work with the festival since 2019, because of issues related to Brexit and then the pandemic, and after the last two festivals there were complaints about the toilet facilities.

This year they have partnered with Exmoor Luxury Loos and will be providing the toilets and servicing this year.

Tickets for the 2023 festival are on sale now and selling fast. Bell Tents have already sold out, but there are still tipis or yurts options available and general family camping.

Applications are also open now for caterers and traders.
