The Beehive in Honiton is inviting the public to its open day this month.

Guests can enjoy a range of events and activities and meet the staff and volunteers at The Beehive on Friday, February from 2pm to 8pm.

Since its opening in 2014, the Beehive has become a popular gathering place for the community, welcoming over 59,000 visitors annually.

It is used by many organisations and special interest groups. It has received recognition, including the Best Venue award at The 373 Business Awards and Community Centre of the Year in the Devon Community Honours.

At the Open Day, visitors can enjoy live music from Terry Stacey in the afternoon, enjoy some free samples of the café food, attend free line dancing sessions with Western Spirit at 3pm & 6pm and learn about the venue's diverse range of events and classes.

The following groups will have stands at the event: u3a, Motiv-8 SW, The Arts Society Honiton, Honiton Community Theatre Company, Paula Ferris Pilates, Nostalgic cinema, Honiton Town Council and The Beehive volunteers.

There will also be a craft corner for children and an opportunity to view the Quarantine Quilt Exhibition in the gallery.
